Hong Kong, December 26, 1848._x000D__x000D_You were relaxing in the port of Hong Kong and celebrating Christmas, and a friendly man befriended you and began to buy you drinks. That's the last thing you remember that night._x000D__x000D_The next day you wake up on board the huge Chinese three-mast 800-ton ship called Keying, which started the arduous and risky journey to the United States and Britain around the dangerous Cape Horn.You soon realize that you have been deceived by the king of criminals, Joseph "Bunko" Kelly, and that you have been forcibly drafted to work with the shipping company of 12 British and 30 Cantonese sailors._x000D__x000D_ Before you lie months if not years of dangerous, unhealthy, unhygienic conditions with little hope of being paid. After weeks at sea, an impending storm drives the ship to seek refuge on a small island known to the locals as Samui. x000D__x000D_In the ship's mess hall a familiar sailor's song is heard: "Far up she rises, far up she rises, far up she rises, far up she rises early in the morning".
