The Elevator escape room

You will enter the elevator in the hotel lobby. Shortly after the elevator starts moving, you will hear a snap. The elevator falls to the bottom of the shaft. Unfortunately you are now stuck on the maintenance level, which is only accessible to the maintenance worker. If the elevator alarm system is broken and the maintenance worker is nowhere to be found... ...can you get out of the elevator?
