The A.I.
San Diego (CA)
The room itself has great reviews! The customer service is absolutely horrible and so far the worst I have run into at any escape room by far. Definitely will not be returning and really encourage people to go elsewhere. The experience overall was not nearly as good because of the people we had to deal with.

Had an amazing time in the AI room. The interactions with both the room and the computer interface went seamlessly together. The challenges were well organized and the mechanics varied significantly so that you were kept on your toes the whole time. If you complete the room with at least 15 minutes to spare, an additional challenge is activated, so that added a whole extra level of fun!

Excellent escape room! We did the AI Room, very high tech and unique puzzles that I won't spoil, but trust me, I haven't seen anything like it before. Awesome staff that are enthusiastic about the game, we had an amazing time. Looking forward to trying The Lab!

The Villain's Lair
San Diego (CA)
My wife and I as well as another couple had been referred to play here from owners of another escape room. We are so happy we went! The three games were all great. The Lab is a great intro room - tweens/teens would like it as would rookie escapers. We did AI and it was also fun. Villain’s Lair ended up being our favorite despite us not getting out (20 more seconds, so close!!). Sabrina was great as our game master and is definitely an asset to the company. Definitely check this place out if you like good and intuitive rooms with great scenery.

The Villain's Lair
San Diego (CA)
This is the 3rd escape room I've done, first two in LA. I thought this one was awesome! We did the villains lair (escaping a North Korean jail) that has a 23% pass rate. Our host was super nice in getting us set up and explaining things. Id recommend for sure and would be back!

The Villain's Lair
San Diego (CA)
Did both the newest Villain's Lair and the AI escape rooms here. I thought the AI room was more of a room that was rated 4, and the Villain's Lair a 4.5._x000D_ _x000D_ Both rooms were extremely different, but very engaging. My group of six with varied levels of experience had a lot of fun trying to figure out the puzzles which required some thinking out of the box for both rooms and a lot of running around._x000D_ _x000D_ I'd recommend at least a group of four for Villain's Lair and no less than four. I think we benefited from having six people because for both AI and Villain's Lair there were a couple puzzles that definitely helped having more people, not less, which is the opposite of what I find for most escape rooms. (I find 4 to be the perfect number). Having spent a lot of time surveying other escapers to find out what rooms would work for a larger group, we settled on Exit Game, and I'm glad we did! Escaping in time definitely relied on teamwork!_x000D_ _x000D_ For Villain's Lair there was a greater level of detail put into the room than in AI, and a lot less button pushing. However, there is one puzzle in Villain's Lair that requires a lot more abstract thinking and may or may not take your group longer to figure out. When we went, the "alarm" was speeding up which made a couple of us think we had lost and didn't escape when we still had 7 minutes left when we escaped! Since it was new to the San Diego space, we figured it was expected that they would still have issues and gave them feedback._x000D_ _x000D_ For AI the details of the rooms were a lot less immersive than Villain's Lair, and I felt most of the puzzles required button pushing. I liked the use of technology and the use of a computer. A few of the puzzles really forced ourselves to think outside of the box. Once you have "escaped" you can choose to do hard mode, which our group chose to do._x000D_ _x000D_ Villain's Lair we were told was a mix of traditional locks and technology (a mix of AI and The Lab basically), of which our group enjoyed more personally. AI is more technology and have no real locks that I can think of, and The Lab which we haven't done is more a traditional lock type room._x000D_ _x000D_ I really liked our game master, who gave us appropriate clues without revealing too much, just the way we like it, via walkie talkies for both rooms._x000D_ _x000D_ I'd definitely add Exit Games as one of the top Escape Room companies in San Diego. My group will be back to do their last room, The Lab.

The Lab 51 - Version 2
San Diego (CA)
Incredible production value. Difficulty spikes require some really sideways thinking, but each room is unique with unique puzzles and real attention to detail._x000D_ _x000D_ We've done every room here and they were all worth it, absolutely recommend it.

The Lab 51 - Version 2
San Diego (CA)
My wife and I visited Exitgame last week and it did not disappoint whatsoever. Upon arriving we were treated by our game host Drew where he made us feel very welcome and was very easy to talk to. We did the Lab 51 room and it was a good mixture of difficulty with the challenges. The only thing I would say was a little frustrating was being tall lol. Without spoiling anything I would recommend my tall friends out there stretch before doing this room. We have done between 20-25 rooms and this was definitely in the top echelon. I look forward to doing the other rooms they have, and I am pretty sure they are going to rock as well. Great job Exitgame, you deliver a legit experience.

The Lab 51 - Version 2
San Diego (CA)
I've done about 20 escape rooms and I was really surprised how good their AI room is in terms of decor, theme-related puzzles and how high quality the tech was in this room. Then I came back to do the Lab 51 room and also had a blast doing it. You can count on me to be first in line whenever they open up a new room. Would recommend to intermediate or experienced players!

The School of Sorcery
San Diego (CA)
My friends and I have done almost every room here. Every room is consistently great, and the puzzles are challenging and varied. The staff is helpful and friendly and clearly love puzzles. I would say that the production values for this place are above average, and the puzzle flow and style is friendly to large groups. I can't say much more without spoiling something, go!
