The King’s Ransom
Alexandria (VA)
Glad to see others enjoyed this room but we did not. The clues were ambiguous at best and unlike some of the other reviews I’ve read, the “staff” was not helpful in “nudging” us in the right direction. Unless they felt repeatedly telling us to “use teamwork” in the final 5 minutes was supposed to be helpful. Uhh, thanks for the tip...

I've been to escape rooms before and this was the best yet! And the ambiance sets the suspenseful tone! And it was great we solved the "King's Ransom", found King Edward's riches and rescued him from kidnapping.

My family of four - son and daughter, husband, and myself - had a great time in the Perfect Crime room! The puzzles were varied and fun to complete. I wish we were in town longer so we could go back and do the other rooms as well! Big hit with our young teens!

It was amazing! We did a team-building event here and it was just great. We had the "Perfect Crime" room and it was really challenging, but we made it of the room in time. The puzzles are fun and diverse and the Game Master was very friendly. Surely an experience to repeat.

Our group did the Perfect Crime room and we had a blast! The theme was very cool and the puzzles were well thought out. The only complaint is how we were given a walkie-talkie to ask questions and hints. We were able to get out, however, we lost time due to the room monitor being busy with another group._x000D_

Bottom line though, I definitely recommend this place and will try to come back next time I'm in DC.

Fun, challenging, confusing, and interesting. My friends and I enjoyed The Captain's quarters. I would love to go to back and try another room.

This was a birthday gift for my boyfriend, and we went with one another couple in our group. We had an additional couple in our room (Captain's Quarters). The puzzle was challenging, and lots of fun. We ended up using all of our lifelines, which was super helpful but not too obvious, and we made it out with 6 minutes left. We thought it was a blast and would love to try another room now that we have the hang of it! The waiting area and the props in the actual game room were very cool.

We had six adults in the Captains Quarters and we had a great time. Our helper "Will" gave us clues to help us to escape and was delightful. Staff were all polite and fun even though we were a bit tardy.
