Great escape room and such wonderful staff. Really had a great time!

A group of four of us played The Cat Lady and The Battle of the Ancients. We have done a ton of escape rooms (between 50-100 depending on the player) and we all loved it. Both rooms were fun, clever, and had elements we had never seen before. The puzzles were hard enough to challenge us, but very logical and possible to solve. The owner was very friendly and chatted with us a bit afterward. We loved that he was involved in the puzzle design (instead of just buying the puzzles from someone else) and it really showed in pride of ownership and customer service. We love supporting local businesses and this company is well-worth supporting! Great rooms, great experience!

We went for my husband's bday. We did cat lady and battle of ancients! Owner is so awesome, rooms well thought out. Had a great time!

first time doing an escape room and it was AWESOME!! did the siren deep room & the puzzles were all very unique yet not too impossibly difficult. would love to try the other room. owners are great!!

My two friends and I had an awesome time with the Siren room - high tech clues and a fun theme. This room was on the easier side but kept us busy. Thanks for a great escape!

We played the Siren Song room and loved the nautical theme! If you’re bored of seeing the same old puzzles over and over again, I highly recommend this room. The creators have come up with fun and original puzzles that make this the best escape room experience in Portland!

The Cat Lady room is so much fun. The story, the staging, and the puzzles all so clever and creative. This is a wonderfully entertaining experience. Fun lovers should flock to Mad Genius Escapes!

We had a group of 6 in the Crazy Cat Lady Room. It was such a great experience. We got so close!

Loved the "Cat Lady" room. Hilarious details and puzzles that worked well and made sense. Lots of stuff to do for 6-8 people, but totally doable for 4 puzzle-lovers. Book it!
